God is Good... All the Time

Thank you, all that prayed for me today. God's hand was definitely on me and my job during this transition. As of Monday the Vice President of our franchise company was told that the company has been sold to another franchise, and that his services would no longer be needed. As of yesterday, My boss was told the same thing. I have been blessed to keep my job, and even given 3 more stores to boot!

I spent today with the new owner, director of operations, and my new boss as we rode to eleven of our stores putting faces to names, and getting a feel of the extreme positive vibes radiating from these energetic men. God has been so good to me and my family over the last few years, even though I do not deserve it. If you remember, in the next few weeks especially, pray that His wisdom will guide my decisions and allow me to be an even greater testimony for Him as I take on these new responsibilities.

"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." -Matthew 6:33

Brother Ted,
I came across your blog by accident.
I had no idea that you have been concerned about your job.
I will be praying for you and your family as these changes take place.
As far as I know I have no job myself. They have hired someone to take my place in Kings Mountain and I was told that when I got ready to come back to work I would need to reapply on line and if they had something they would consider my application.
So, as I pray for you, I ask that you pray for us.
Your sister in Christ,
Janice

Jamie mentioned last night that the franchise was sold. I'm glad to hear you were able to keep your job. Sounds like more work, but praise the Lord it's WORK!!!

Nanny - Wow, I didn't know they wouldn't hold your job for you. I would think that FMLA would apply to your situation. We will definitely keep you in our prayers.

Kristi - Absolutely! God has really given me a peace throughout all of this. And I know that even though I can't even imagine the amount of work ahead of me, I know He will make my way straight.

Honestly, Russel (The other area supervisor in Spartanburg) and I are extremely excited about the direction the new company will be going.
