Ted was sent this via email this morning, and played it for me. It is making the rounds through email, but for those who have not received it, you can watch it here.
I want to play this every morning, then I won't have to repeat myself ever again, right?

ClueLess
"John Lennon once claimed the Beatles were bigger than Jesus, but is Obama really bigger than both?" - This was the headline that blared out at me, when I opened up the news this morning.
Where is John Lennon now??
Pray for our country, pray for our government, and Pray for our President!!! It just might save his life in more ways then 1.
Hope ya'll have a blessed week.
Jamie passed driver's ed. btw, and is waiting to go with Ted to get his permit.
Happy Birthday to Leann and Tammy, my sisters in law, in the month of February.

Shopaholics Unite
Good Morning! I am passing time online until I have to take Jamie to driver's ed.
He finishes his full course tomorrow, and should pass if he doesn't mess up in the next few hours.
I have a weird habit of reading the obituaries in the papers that I view online on a regular basis. This actually keeps me in touch with what is going on with people that I do not have regular contact with.
This morning I read the best obituary I think I have ever seen. I actually enjoyed reading this brief excerpt about the passing of a woman I have never known.
Here is what had me laughing, yes laughing soo hard, about what is normally a solemn occasion.
I quote:"After a brief nursing career, Mrs. Williams turned to shopping as a profession, and made a greater effort to stimulate the economy than President Obama ever will. The vast majority of Richmond merchants will mourn her passing."
Now, if I should leave this earth before the Rapture, I hope someone will think to cheer people up in my obituary :)

Firsts
This has been a month of firsts.
The first month of the first year without President Bush- we miss him already. The first time I have had a 16 year old. {Happy Birthday, Jamie!}
The first time I have had a child in a public high school, well only to take driver's ed classes- another first.
The first time Ted has sung a solo on a Wednesday night in church.
The first time I have ate Cajun cooking and survived. (Had a wonderful time at the Romeros!)To virtually visit the Diamond R Horse farm you can go to their website: http://www.diamondrhorsefarm.com/
OH!! and our first snow of the season!! It even stuck to the ground for a day!
Those are some of the important Firsts that have happened in the first of 2009.
So first and last I want to wish Happy Birthday to Jamie, my nephew DJ, my mother, my brothers-in law- Ken and Tim. (For Birthday pictures of the huge family, January birthday party you can visit Tammy's blog):

God is Good... All the Time
Thank you, all that prayed for me today. God's hand was definitely on me and my job during this transition. As of Monday the Vice President of our franchise company was told that the company has been sold to another franchise, and that his services would no longer be needed. As of yesterday, My boss was told the same thing. I have been blessed to keep my job, and even given 3 more stores to boot!
I spent today with the new owner, director of operations, and my new boss as we rode to eleven of our stores putting faces to names, and getting a feel of the extreme positive vibes radiating from these energetic men. God has been so good to me and my family over the last few years, even though I do not deserve it. If you remember, in the next few weeks especially, pray that His wisdom will guide my decisions and allow me to be an even greater testimony for Him as I take on these new responsibilities.

Not Yet
Good Morning, I do not know when Ted will get to post much of anything.
Alot of major changes happened with his company this week. Today is going to be a very eventful day for Ted.
I ask all those who pray for us, to please pray for Ted today, and the rest of this week as those changes are implemented. Pray that Ted will be grace under fire, and a testimony for our Savior.
Pray for his health and stress levels to stay normal.
Thank you all for praying.
When I can share with you the extent of what is going on, I will.

New Year -Same Old Stuff
Well, I am sure Ted will probably post something soon. I just wanted to pipe up and say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Ted made like 10 dozen of those chocolate peanut butter balls(see previous post for pictures), they were definitely in high demand. I designed 2 specialty gag gifts for 2 different parties, and might have an order for a 3rd(email me if you really want to see a picture of these).
The boys received those plastic air pistols with plastic bb's from their Aunt and Uncle, they have been downright entertained for long periods of time being " all boy". Ted likes to jump in with them, and to check out his aim as well.
We had an enjoyable Christmas and a very unique New Years Eve.
We have reallly enjoyed taking the break from school and work and just lazyin' around and rebuilding our energy for next week.
It will be full steam ahead with school and work and activities and church and ministries... and I am already out of breath, just typing the whole list!
So ~ Until Ted posts something awe~inspiring or brain~wrenching intellectual, I bid you Happy New Year.
